The Rada AP1 iPad App is available from the Apple App Store
free of charge and is required for programming the Rada
Digital Faucet. Search Rada AP1.
The App is only compatible with an Apple iPad. It is currently
not compatible with Apple iPhones or Android devices.
The IOM is available from Armstrong International.
The Rada Digital Faucet instruction videos are on
Armstrong International’s YouTube page.

Connecting your iPad to the Rada Digital Faucet
Open the Rada AP1 App on your
iPad.
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on
your iPad. Put the Faucet into
service mode by placing the Rada
Magnetic Key (included) near the
front of the tap. The Faucet is in
service mode when the spanner
wrench is red.
Click in the Valve Setup panel.

Click on Bluetooth.
The App will search for the
Faucet.
Ensure you are near the Faucet
you’re programming and the
spanner wrench is red.
You’ll see the Faucet appear in the
Valve Search box.
It will appear as a serial number.
Once it appears, click on it.
Enter the Pin. The default pin is
5945. Click Apply.

The faucet is connected when the
indicator bars are lit.
Once connected click the back
button to return to the home screen
(you can do this at any point during
programming).

You’re now back on the Home
Screen.

Set the basic parameters
Here you can:
Click on Valve Setup.
Set the date and time
Create a unique Faucet name
Setting the Region (Language) and Chosing Fahrenheit / Celcius
Changing the Default Pin.
Note: To perform thermal disinfection and duty ush it is essential the date and
time are programmed accurately. Failure to do so will result will compromise the
datalogging function.
Set the date and time
Click Edit in Installation Setup
panel.

In the Valve and Date panel select
either the Time and / or Date eld.
Scroll to set current date and
time. When complete, click Done.
Click the forward arrow.

Click Apply to Valve.

The Faucet will let you know it is
making the changes.
Note: any other changes made in
other tiles will be applied when you
select Apply to Valve button.
Date and time have now been set.
