Electrical conducts:
´To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not
remove cover. No user serviceable parts inside.
Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
´Before you connect the appliance, ensure the
voltage rating on the type plate corresponds to
your mains voltage (type plate is located on the
bottom of the unit).
Technical conducts:
´Repairs to electrical appliances should only be
performed by qualified personnel. Improper
repairs may place the user and/or equipment at
serious risk.
´Do not operate this appliance with a damaged
plug or cord, after a malfunction or after being
dropped or damaged in any way.
´If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified people in order to avoid a
hazard.
´Do not push objects into any openings as
damage to the equipment and/or electric shock
may occur.
´If abnormal noise, smell, smoke or any other
failure is discovered during operation, turn off
the product and unplug the power plug. Then
contact the service center for repair.
´Do not remove the appliance from the mains
power supply by pulling the cord; pull the plug.

Safety instructions
´Always unplug the appliance after use and
before any cleaning or user maintenance.
Environmental conducts:
´Ensure the equipment is not too close to heat
emitting appliances or placed in direct sunlight.
´Do not use this appliance outdoors.
Other conducts:
´Do not start brewing when the carafe is not in
place.
´Always use the handle of the carafe to avoid
burns.
´Do not use a cracked carafe or if the handle is
loose.
´Be cautious when moving the carafe if it
contains hot coffee.
´Never use warm water to fill the water tank.
Only use cold water.
´Overfilling the water tank will cause the carafe
to be overfilled and spill over, this can cause
severe scalding.
´Do not operate the appliance without water to
avoid damaging the heating elements. If this
happens by accident, the boil-dry protection will
automatically switch on.
´Do not pour any water into the appliance once
it has been turned on.

Operation
Before first use:
´Remove all of the packaging from your coffee maker and place
it on a flat surface.
´Brew only water for a couple of times to make sure the coffee
maker is clean and ready to brew coffee:
1. Open the top cover and fill the water tank with cold water.
Note: Do not fill the water tank with water that exceeds the
maximum level indicated on the water gauge.
2. Close the top cover and connect the power plug to a wall
outlet. Press the “On/Off” button to start brewing.
3. Repeat step 1-2 for two to three times.
Get started:
1. Open the top cover and fill the water tank with cold water.
Note: Do not fill the water tank with water that exceeds the
maximum level indicated on the water gauge.
2. Open the funnel cover and place the filter in the funnel.
3. Add coffee powder into filter.
4. Insert the carafe with lid in place onto the warming plate.
5. Plug the power cord into a wall outlet.
6. Press the “ON/OFF” button to start the appliance, the power
indicator will start illuminating red. The appliance will begin
working. Press the “ON/OFF” button again to stop the appliance
from brewing.
7. After brewing, the appliance will automatically switch to keep
warm mode. The appliance will shut off automatically after 40
minutes from the ON/OFF button being activated.
8. When the coffee is done, you can temporarily remove the carafe
to pour and serve hot coffee. The brewing cycle will not be
interrupted and no coffee will drip from the appliance, simply
replace the carafe onto the warming plate to restart the brewing
cycle.
Note: Do not remove the carafe for longer than 30 seconds and
never put an empty carafe onto the warming plate when it is still
warm.
Note: The appliance will shut off automatically after 40 minutes
from the ON/OFF button being activated.

Operation
Automatic start function:
´If you do not want to make coffee right away, for example now
it is 8:10 am, you hope that the coffee maker automatically start
at 1:10 pm, follow these steps:
1. Set current time (8:10am) by pressing HOUR and MINUTE
button.
2. Press AUTO/PROG button once, LCD and green indicator will
flash.
3. Press the HOUR and MIN buttons to set the automatic starting
time (1:10pm).
Note: The time cycle is 12 hours.
4. Press AUTO/PROG button again and green indicator will go
out.
5. Hold AUTO/PROG button for 3 seconds, green indicator will
keep constant on which means timer setting is successful.
6. When the time is due, green indicator will go out and red
indicator will turn on, then the unit starts brewing. After
brewing, 3 buzzer sounds will be heard and
the appliance will
automatically switch to keep warm mode
.
7. The appliance will shut off automatically after 40 minutes from
the ON/OFF button being activated.
Tips for great coffee:
´A clean coffee maker is essential for making great coffee. Clean
the coffee maker regularly as specified in the “Maintenance”
paragraph.
´Always use fresh and cold water in the water tank.
´Store the coffee powder in a cool and dry place.
Note: Keep an opened package of coffee powder fresh by
resealing it tightly and storing it in a cool and dry place.
´We do not recommend to reuse coffee powder as this
will greatly reduce the coffee flavor.
´We do not recommend reheating coffee as coffee flavor is best
immediately after brewing.

Maintenance
Cleaning and Maintenance:
´Always remove the main plug from the wall outlet before
cleaning the appliance.
´Never immerse the main unit and power cord in water.
Clean the exterior with a damp cloth.
´The carafe and funnel can be washed in dishwasher.
Remove mineral deposits:
1. Fill the water tank with water and descaler to the max
level (indicated on water gauge).
2. Put the carafe onto the warming plate and make sure the
filter and funnel are assembled in place.
3. Start the appliance and allow it to brew the descale
solution. After brewing, switch off the appliance.
4. Leave the solution for 15 minutes and then repeat step
1-3.
5. Start the appliance and run off the solution until the
water tank is completely empty. Rinse by operating the
appliance with only water at least 3 times.
