Assembly
1. Unpack the ice maker from the box. Check to make sure that all the
accessories are included.
2. Remove any unwanted packaging materials such as cardboard, plastics or
styrofoam.
3. Wipe clean all parts using a soft damp cloth or sponge and warm water.
4. DO NOT IMMERSE THE ICE MAKER IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIAL TO CLEAN THE SURFACE
DO NOT IMMERSE THE ICE MAKER BASE INTO WATER AT ANY TIME

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed.
PLEASE READ AND SAVE ALL
INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE
PORTABLE ICE MAKER. KEEP AWAY
FROM WATER!
1. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse power cord, plug or ice
maker base in water or any other liquid.
2. Always operate this unit on a flat stable surface.
3. Do not use the ice maker for other than intended use. Do not use outdoors.
For household use only.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near
children. This ice maker is not intended for use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the ice maker by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Always unplug this unit from the electrical outlet when not in use or before
cleaning.
6. Do not operate the ice maker with a damaged power cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the
ice maker to the warranty center for examination, repair, or electrical or
mechanical adjustment. See warranty page. Do not attempt to repair the ice
maker yourself.
7. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch
any hot surface.
8. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer
may result in fire, electrical shock, or risk of injury.
9. Do not place the ice maker on or near hot gas or electric burners, or in a
heated oven.
10. Keep the ice maker a minimum of 8” away from other objects to allow proper
ventilation.

11. The appliance must be placed on a dry and level surface with sufficient
ventilation, far from heat sources such as ovens, heaters and corrosive gases.
12. Do not insert any objects into the ice maker.
13. Keep hands, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from the ice
pegs while the unit is plugged in and in use.
14. Before using the ice maker for the first time, please allow the ice maker to sit
in one place with the transparent lid open for at least 2 hours.
15. Keep the ventilation openings clear of obstructions.
16. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
17. To disconnect, always turn to OFF, then remove plug from wall outlet.
18. Use water only to make ice cubes. DO NOT use any other liquid in this ice
maker to make ice cubes other than water.
19. DO NOT clean your ice maker with flammable fluids. The fumes can create a
fire hazard or explosion.
20. The incline angle of the ice maker cabinet should not exceed 45° during
transportation or use. Do not turn the ice maker upside down. Doing so could
cause the compressor or refrigerating system to operate incorrectly.
21. Allow time for the fluids in the compressor to settle after the ice maker is
moved or transported.
22. Before using the ice maker for the first time, please wait for 2 hours after the
unit has been leveled and positioned in the proper place.
23. Do not fill the water reservoir with hot water. This may damage the ice maker.
It is best to fill the water reservoir with water of room temperature.
24. Do not use the appliance at a very cold environment (lower than 40°F).
25. Always ensure that the ice maker is on a stable, flat and level surface to avoid
malfunction.

CAUTION:
WARNING: Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions
listed below may result in electric shock, fire or serious personal injury. The
warnings, cautions, and instructions discussed in this instruction manual cannot
cover all possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood
by the operator that common sense and caution are a factor which cannot be
built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
CAUTION: A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal
injury resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care
is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is required, special care and caution
is necessary. Also, the cord must be: (1) marked with an electrical rating of 125V,
and at least 14AWG (15A.), 1875 W., and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it
will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by
children or tripped over accidentally.
3 PRONG PLUG
NOTE: This item comes equipped with a 3 prong plug. It is recommended that you
only plug this into an outlet that accepts the 3 prongs and that you do not try to
defeat this feature as it is an important safety feature that protects you from
electric shock if a wire comes loose.
Electric power
If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your ice maker may not
operate properly. The ice maker should be operated on a separate electrical
circuit from other operating appliances.

Safety warning
Although your ice maker is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings below
must be followed:
1. Do not place the ice maker near a heat source.
2. Never leave the ice maker unattended while connected to the electrical
outlet.
3. Use the ice maker on a stable work surface away from water.
4. Do not unplug from the wall outlet by pulling on the supply cord.
5. The ice maker must be unplugged:
A. After each use.
B. If it appears to be faulty.
C. Before cleaning or maintenance.

Before first use
Read all instructions before first use and follow them carefully.
Wash all pieces, except base unit, in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry
thoroughly. Do NOT immerse ice maker in water or any other liquid.
Allow the ice maker to sit in one place with the lid open for at least 2
hours.
Ensure that the drain plug on the bottom of the ice maker is closed well.
Always ensure that the ice maker is on a stable, flat and level surface to
avoid malfunction.
Control Panel
A. The green POWER light will blink when the unit is plugged in.
B. To turn the unit on, press the ON/OFF button.
C. The green light will stay on and the green light under LARGE will turn on
indicating the unit is ON and the LARGE size cube has been selected.
D. To change the size of the ice cube, press the SELECT button to change
between LARGE or SMALL ice cubes. The green light will indicate which size
has been selected.
E. The indicator light above ADD WATER will turn red when there is insufficient
water for ice production. Please add water to the water reservoir but do not
overfill. Press the ON/OFF button twice to restart the ice making process.
F. When the ice tray is full, the light above ICE FULL will turn red and the unit will
stop working. Please remove the ice tray, empty it, and replace the tray. Add
water if necessary. The unit will restart automatically.

Operating instructions
1. Open the lid and remove the ice tray.
2. Add water to the water reservoir. DO NOT OVERFILL. The maximum amount
of water to add should not be more than 64 oz (8 cups). There is a MAX line
inside the water reservoir for reference.
3. Always use fresh potable water before starting ice cube production. To
ensure the cleanliness of the ice, please use fresh water at least once a day.
4. Plug in the ice maker. The POWER light will blink. Place the tray in the
reservoir and close the lid.
5. Press ON/OFF button to turn the unit on.
6. Select desired ice size. Default for the unit is the large size.
NOTE: Please select the small cubes when the ambient temperature is below
60°F. When the ambient temperature is above 86°F the large size ice cubes are
recommended.
7. The ice shovel will be in the up position and the water tray will fill with water.

8. Ice cubes will form around the ice pegs. The ice shovel and water tray will
drop down, the shovel will move back behind the ice pegs. The cubes will
release from the pegs.
9. The ice shovel will scoop up the ice cubes and deposit them in the ice tray.
10. This unit will make about 9 ice cubes per cycle. It takes approximately 8
minutes per cycle.
11. The ice tray area is not refrigerated. Remove the ice cubes as soon as
possible after 2 to 3 cycles or they will begin to melt.
12. Do not allow ice tray to overfill.
WARNINGS
ALWAYS keep fingers and utensils away from the ice pegs.
USE CAUTION when filling the water reservoir or removing the ice tray. The
condenser and compressor can get hot and the surrounding areas may be hot to
the touch.
