General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This operating manual is applicable for the portable induction cooktop�
It contains important information about operating and handling the
appliance�
Before you use the portable induction cooktop, please carefully read the
operating manual and, in particular, the safety instructions� If you do not follow the
instructions in this operating manual, you could suffer serious injuries or the
portable induction cooktop could be damaged�
Please retain the operating manual for future reference� If you give the induction
cooking plate to a third party, please make sure you include this operating manual�

appliance, or on the packaging�

Safety
Proper use
The device is solely meant for heating or cooking food using
suitable cookware� Furthermore, the appliance is only designed for
use in private households� It is not intended for commercial use, such
as in staff kitchens in shops, offices and other business premises,
nor in agricultural premises or by guests in hotels, motels or other
residential establishments such as bread and breakfast guest
houses� Any other use or modification of the appliance is against
regulations, and is strictly forbidden� Damages resulting from
improper or incorrect use negate any liability�

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other)� To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is
intended to fit into a polarized outlet only one way� If the plug
does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug� If it still does
not fit, contact a qualified electrician� Do not attempt to modify
the plug in any way�
WARNING!
Please read and comply with all safety instructions listed
below. In case of noncompliance, there is significant risk
of accidents and injuries as well as damage to property
and devices. When using electrical appliances, basic pre-
cautions should always be followed, including the fol-
lowing:

Packing materials:
- Packing cartons covered with rugs, bedspreads, plastic
sheets, or stretch wrap may become airtight chambers and
can quickly cause suffocation�
- Remove the protective film covering the appliance before
putting it into operation�
- Destroy or recycle the appliance’s cardboard box,
plastic bags, and any other exterior wrapping
material immediately after the product is unpa-
cked� Children should never play with these items�

- Keep the appliance out of reach of children�

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed including the following:
- DO NOT touch hot surfaces�
- To protect against electrical shock do not immerse cord, plug
or cooktop in water or any other liquid�
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used
by or near children�
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning�
Allow to cool before cleaning or handling�
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug
or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been damaged
in any manner� Return appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination, repair or adjustment�
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the
appliance manufacturer may cause injuries�
- Indoor countertop use only� Do not use outdoors�
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch
hot surfaces�
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a
heated oven�
- Do not move the appliance with any cookware containing
hot oil or other hot liquids or ingredients�
- Do not use the appliance for other than its intended use�
- Do not immerse in water�
- To disconnect, turn any control to off, then remove plug from
wall outlet�
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks of
becoming entangled or tripping over a longer cord� Extensi-
on cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in
