Introduction:
A novel, manoeuvrable and marvelous Quad Flyer Spider 500X is now released from
ALWARE design ompany! Spider 500X was designed based on Sport Flying and with
Spider shape. Constru t with eight pie es(2 olors) of super bright LEDs, it is easier to
dis riminate different flying dire tions no matter in daylight or night time and makes the
Spider 500X look supper brilliant! Furthermore, with a ollapsible body design, it is more
onvenient for storage and transportation. Unlike other lower level ollapsible design, ea h
arm of Spider 500X ould be folded onveniently without using any tools. Combined with a
2-axises FPV amera mount and four individual spring damper landing gears, Spider 500X
obviously is an advan ed QuadFlyer in the market.
Features:
- Glass fiber sheets and Collapsible body design greatly redu e the damage rate on a
small rash, parts an be repaired easily.

Filming.
- Allow the usage with all original ele troni s from GAUI 330X su h as Gyro GU-344,

Important Notes for the assembly steps:
−, it is very important to apply RC Threadlo ker to every
s rews when fixing metal parts in luding metal Nuts, otherwise a serious hazard
may be happened during the flying time.
−Don't over tighten any s rews, or some parts may be damaged permanently.
−Some of the assembly dire tion is unique and important, please follow the
assembly dire tion shown on the photos, otherwise you may fail to omplete the
rest steps.

Assembly Instruction Steps:
Step 1.
Prepare 1x Landing Gear, 1x
(3x7x3mm)Flange Bearing, 1x M3x8 Hex
Cap S rew and 1x M3 Nut.
Step 2.
Insert the M3x8 Hex Cap S rew through the
bottom hole of the Landing Gear and a
Flange Bearing, then tighten it with a M3
Nut.
Step 3.
The “flange” of the Flange Bearing should
be lose to the Landing Gear frame. Adjust
the tightness of the Hex Cap S rew as to let
the Flange Bearing to rotate smoothly.
Step 4.
Repeat step 1-3 as to omplete other 3
pie es of Landing Gear Frames with Flange
Bearings.

Step 5.
Prepare 2x Spider Arm Frames, 2x Hex Alu
Rod 39mm, 5x Round Alu Rod 35mm, 4x
M2x6 Hex Cap S rews and 5x M2x8 Hex
Cap S rews.
Step 6.
Se ure a Hex Alu Rod onto one end edge of
the Spider Arm Frame using 2x M2x6 Hex
Cap S rews.
Step 7.
Maintain the Hex Alu Rod parallel to the end
edge of the Spider Arm Frame while
tightening the s rews.
Step 8.
Se ure another Hex Alu Rod onto another
Spider Arm Frame using 2x M2x6 Hex Cap
S rews. (Remarks: the assembly direction
must be as same as the photo shown
above.)

Step 9.
Se ure 5 pie es of Round Alu Rod 35mm to
the either side of the Spider Arm Frame with
5p s M2x8 Hex Cap S rews. (Remarks: the
assembly direction is important and
unique!)
Step 10.
Prepare the assembly finished at step 9, 2x
Arm Ribs, 1x Motor Mount, 1x Landing Gear
Assembly finished at step 4, 2x Round Alu
Rod 16mm and 5x M2x8 Hex Cap S rews.
Step 11.
Insert the Motor Mount onto the Spider Arm
Set with Alu Rods installed.
Step 12.
The assembly dire tion for the Motor Mount
is unique and important.

Step 13.
Bend and insert an Arm Rib onto the upper
side of the Spider Arm Set.
Step 14.
The end side of the Arm Rib with a small
hole should be pla ed oppose to the Motor
Mount. (Remarks: the assembly direction for
the Arm Rib is important and unique!)
Step 15.
Prepare a GAUI 10A ESC(not in luded) to
get ready to pla e inside the Spider Arm
Assembly. (Other brands of SCs could
also be used, installation for large SCs
please refer to step 19.)
Step 16.
Pla e the 10A ESC under the Arm Rib
Frame installed on the Spider Arm as shown
above.

Step 17.
Insert the se ond Arm Rib onto the lower
side of the Spider Arm Set. The end side of
the Arm Rib with a small hole should be
pla ed oppose to the Motor Mount.
(Remarks: the assembly direction for the
Arm Rib is important and unique!)
Step 18.
Spider Arm Assembly will look like the photo
shown above after the previous steps.
Step 19.
Remarks: when using large ESCs, simply
pla e the ESC under the Spider Arm and
se ure it with a Zip Tie.
Step 20.
Prepare another side of the Spider Arm to
get ready to join two Spider Arm Frames
together.

Step 21.
Next insert the Motor Mount into
another side of the Spider Arm at
first.
Step 22.
Twist a M2x Hex Cap Screw into the
Alu Rod under the Motor Mount as to
secure one end side of the Spider
Arms.
Step 23.
Next insert both Arm Ribs to the Spider Arm
Frame and twist the extra four M2x8 Hex
Cap S rews onto the Alu Rods a ording to
the sequen e of the red arrow shown
above.
Step 24.
Total 5 pie es of M2x8 Hex Cap S rews is
now tightened on the red ir le position
shown above. And then prepare 1x Tension
Spring 0.6x4.9x18mm.
