General information
Reading and storing the user manual
This user manual accompanies this electric inflator pump (hereinafter
referred to as the “pump”). It contains important information on initial
set-up and use.
Before using the pump, please read through the user manual carefully.
This particularly applies to the safety notes. Failure to follow the instructions in this
user manual may result in severe injury or damage to the pump.
The user manual is based on the standards and rules in force in the European Union.
When abroad, you must also observe country-specific guidelines and laws.
Store the user manual for future use. If you pass the pump on to third parties, please
be absolutely sure to include this user manual.
Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the pump or
on the packaging.
WARNING!
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with moderate risk, which may result in death or
severe injury if not avoided.
CAUTION!
This signal symbol/word designates a hazard
with low risk that, if not avoided, may result in
minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE! This signal word warns against potential
damages to property.
This symbol provides you with useful supplementary information on its
operation.
Declaration of conformity (see chapter “Declaration of conformity”):
Products marked with this symbol meet all applicable Community
regulations for the European Economic Area.
The 230V pump has protection class II.
The symbol indicates that the 12V pump corresponds to protection
class III.

The pump may only be used in indoor areas.

Proper use
The pump is designed solely for inflating and deflating air-filled articles such as
dinghies, guest beds, air mattresses and other large-volume inflatable articles for
domestic use. It is only intended for private use and is not suitable for commercial
purposes. Do not use the pump to inflate bicycle or car tyres.
Only use the pump as described in this user manual. Any other use is deemed
improper and may result in damage to property or even personal injury. The pump is
not a children’s toy.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage caused by improper or
incorrect use.
Safety instructions
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
A faulty electrical installation or excessive mains voltage may result
in an electric shock.
− Only connect the pump if the voltage of the socket
corresponds to the specification on the rating plate.
− Only connect the pump to an easily accessible socket so that
you can quickly disconnect the pump from the power supply
in the event of a fault.
− Do not operate the pump if it exhibits visible damage or the
power cord or power plug is defective.
− The power cable of the pump cannot be replaced.
Dispose of the pump if the cable is damaged.
− Do not open the housing; instead, have a qualified professional
carry out the repairs. Contact a qualified workshop for this.

performed by the user, improper connection or incorrect
operation.
− Only parts that comply with the original device data may be
used for repairs. This pump contains electrical and mechanical
parts which are essential for providing protection against
sources of danger.
− Do not operate the pump with an external timer or separate
tele-control system.
− Do not immerse the pump, the power cord or power plug in
water or other liquids.
− Never touch the power plug with damp hands.
− Never pull the power plug out of the socket by the power cord;
instead, always do so by taking hold of the power plug.
− Never use the power cord as a carrying handle.
− Keep the pump, power plug and power cord away from open
flames and hot surfaces.
− Lay the power cord so that it does not pose a tripping hazard.
− Do not kink the power cord and do not lay it over sharp edges.
− Only use the pump in indoor areas. Never use it in wet rooms
or in the rain.
− Never store the pump in such a way that it could fall into a bath
or wash basin.
− Never reach to retrieve an electrical device if it has fallen in
water. In such a case, immediately disconnect the power
plug from the socket.
− Make sure that children do not insert any objects into the
pump.
− Always switch the pump off and pull the power plug out of
the socket when you are not using the pump, when you are
cleaning it or in the event of a fault.

Operating the pump incorrectly may result in injury.
− Always observe the instructions for the article to be inflated.
− Never look into the air outlet or the air intake while the pump
is in operation.
− Never place your hand or fingers into the pump’s air outlet or
air intake.

Danger for children and persons with impaired physical, sen-
sory or mental capacities (e.g. partially disabled persons, older
persons with reduced physical and mental capacities) or lack of
experience and knowledge (e.g. older children).
− This appliance is not intended for use by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety. Children must not
play with the pump. Cleaning and user maintenance
must not be performed by children.
− Keep children away from the pump
and the connection cable.
− Do not leave the pump unattended while in operation.
− Do not let children play with the packaging film. Children may
get caught in it when playing and suffocate.

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
Improper handling of the pump may damage it.
− Place the pump on an easily accessible, level, dry, heat-
resistant and sufficiently stable work surface. Do not place the
pump on the edge or corner of the work surface.
− Avoid a build-up of heat by not placing the pump directly
against a wall or under a wall cabinet. The steam that is
emitted could damage furniture.
− Never place the pump on or near hot surfaces (e.g. stove tops
etc.).
− Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with
hot parts.
− Never expose the pump to high temperatures (heaters etc.) or
to the effects of weather (rain etc.).
− Never fill the pump with liquid.
− Never attempt to clean the pump by submerging it in water
and do not use a steam cleaner to clean it. Otherwise, the
pump could become damaged.
− Never place the pump in the dishwasher. It would be
destroyed as a result.
− Stop using the pump if the plastic parts of the pump exhibit
cracks or breaks or are deformed. Only replace damaged parts
with corresponding original spare parts.

NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the packaging with a sharp
knife or other pointed objects, you may easily damage the pump.
− Be very careful when opening.
1. Remove the pump from the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see Fig.A or B).
3. Check whether the pump or the individual parts exhibit any damage. If this is the
case, do not use the pump. Contact the manufacturer at the service address
specified on the warranty card.
Operation
CAUTION!
Risk of hearing damage!
The pump may be loud while in operation and could lead to hearing
damage.
− Wear ear protection when using it for long periods.
NOTICE!
Risk of damage!
The pump is not designed for long-term continuous operation and
may overheat.
− Do not cover the unused air outlet/intake during operation.
− Do not use the air outlet and the air intake at the same time.
− Do not operate the pump with the large valve adapter for
