4. SUGGESTIONS FOR USING THIS PRODUCT
•If your hi-fi system has an extra output help or a loudspeaker
output, we recommend to plug the SoundNET transmitter to this
output, letting free the headphones output. For this, you will have
to buy a connecting cable in any electronic shop.
•To connect the transmitter to a TV or a video, we recommend to
use the output of the euroconnector. You will also need the cable
for that.
•To get the highest sound of the system, we recommend to
regulate level adjustment 3as nearest as possible to the red
colour position of number 4. You will then get the highest sound
possible in the receivers.
•If you have a three-phase net with different sockets connected to
different phases, you have to be aware that transmitter and
receiver have to be connected to the same phase.

5. HOW TO SOLVE UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS
Problem (P) Cause (C) Solution (S)
•(P) The receiver does not give out any sound, the indicator 4is
turned into green, the indicator 10 is switched on and the
13 is switched off.
(C) Interferences in the network.
(S) Change the channel of communication in the receiver and in
the transmitter, changing 8and 14 into another position. If
the problem persists , it could be that there are interferences
in the network1, or that transmitter and receiver are plugged
in different socket phases.
•(P) The sound of the receiver has intermittent cuts, and when this
happens the indicator 13 switches itself on and off. The
indicator 4 is green and the indicator 10 is switched on.
(C) Interferences in the network.
(S) Change the channel of communication in the receiver and in
the transmitter, changing 8and 14 into another position. If
the problem persists, it could be that there is a big
interference in the network.
•(P) The receiver does not give any sound, the indicator 4is off,
and the switches 2and 13 are switched on.
1The receiver SoundNET has been designed to disconnect from the
sound source if any of the electronic items of your installation is
producing a big interference in the network.

- 8 -
(C) The SoundNET receiver is not getting any signal from the hi-
fi system, because the reception level of the SoundNET
receiver has not been well adjusted, or because your hi-fi
system is not sending any signal (the record is finished, etc.).
(S) Get a good input entry adjusting 3, or correct the
functioning of your sound system.
•(P) The sound given by the SoundNET receiver is of bad quality.
(C) Your sound system is reproducing the sound with very low
quality.
(S) Check the working of your sound system.
