 Retire os e ementos de empaque y co oque

 Se eccione a mejor ubicación para su estufa.

No debe quedar expuesta a corrientes de aire

y debe tener espacio suficiente para abrir a

puerta de horno.

 No insta e gabinetes o mueb es de cocina

encima de a estufa.

 Si insta a campana extractora, co óque a a 61 cm

como mínimo de a cubierta de a estufa.

 Si su estufa cuenta con accesorios e éctricos

co óque a cerca de un tomacorriente de pared.

EXHAUST DEVICE

 Insta your range in an area that is protected against weather exposure.

 Do not a ow range to be used by chi dren or unqua ified adu ts.

 Provide for adequate maintenance.

 Use the range on y in home app ications. It is not designed for commercia use.

qua ified technician or Service technician must

insta this range.

 Remove a packing materia and put the range

accessories in their p aces.

 Se ect the best ocation in your kitchen for your

range. Protected from wind and with enough

space to open the oven door.

 Do not insta cabinetry direct y above the range.

 If you wi insta an exhaust device, put it at 61

cm minimum from the range cooktop.

 If your range has a power cord, it must be

insta ed near an e ectrica wa out et.

 Do not use extension cords or mu tip e out ets.

Fire or Explosion Hazard

Do not allow children to use or play with the range;

keep children away while range is in use.

Keep the range surroundings free of flammable material,

gasoline and other vapors or flammable liquids.

Do not get too close to the flame produced by the

burners or wear loose clothing; your clothes may ignite

if contact by open flames.

Do not use your range to warm rooms, because this is

dangerous.

Failure to do so can result in death, fire or explosion.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA ESTUFA EN LA COCINA:

 La instalación debe ser realizada por una persona capacitada.

 La estufa está preparada de fábrica para empotrarse Tipo Slide In (deslizándola

sobre la cubierta de la cocina).

Slide - In Installation

 Prepare la estufa:

 Prepare the range:

- Retire as parri as, quemadores superiores y sus tapas.

- Des ice a estufa sobre a cubierta de a cocina sin egar hasta e fondo.

- Conecte a ínea de gas como se indica en a página 5 y verifique con agua jabonosa

que no existan fugas de gas.

- Rea ice cuidadosamente as conexiones e éctricas necesarias y des ice a estufa hasta

e fondo.

- Co oque nuevamente os quemadores superiores, as tapas de os quemadores y as

parri as.

- Remove the top grates, the top burners and the burners caps.

- S ide the range on the countertop a owing a space between the range and the back

of the countertop.

- Connect the range to the gas supp y as shown in the page 5 and verify that there

are no gas eaks using soap so ution.

- Connect the e ectrica power cord (if your mode has e ectrica features).

- S ide the range to the back of the countertop.

- Rep ace the burners, burner caps and the grates.

CONEXIÓN DE LA ESTUFA A LA LÍNEA DE GAS

 Esta estufa está preparada para

funcionar con gas L.P. de tanque móvi

o estacionario.

 Para usarse con gas natura ( de

tubería) debe amar a Servicio Acros

Whir poo para cambiar as espreas y

hacer os ajustes necesarios, e

número te efónico aparece en a

página 15. E técnico ca ificado debe

cerciorarse que a conexión no tiene

fugas y que a presión de gas en a

estufa es que aparece en as tab as.

NOTA: Las diferentes a titudes sobre e nive de mar y as variaciones

en e suministro de gas, hacen necesario regu ar a entrada de aire

primario a os quemadores para obtener una adecuada mezc a de

aire-gas y así tener un buen funcionamiento de a estufa.

Funcionamiento

NOTA: No obstruya a saida de os

gases de combustion de horno o asador

 Los modelos con termostato tienen piloto en el horno,

para ajustarlo:

1.- Con e frente de peri as retirado, oca ice e torni o de ajuste

de a f ama de pi oto en e termostato. (Ver figura).

2.- Retire a charo a de horno (ver Pag. 11), gire e contro

aproximadamente 30° hasta sentir un tope

(esta es a posición de pi oto), y encienda e

pi oto con un ceri o.

3.- Con un desarmador p ano y de gado gire e torni o de

ajuste de pi oto hasta obtener una f ama de

aproximadamente 1 cm.

4.- Co oque e frente de peri as, os torni os y as peri as

nuevamente en su ugar.

HOW TO ADJUST THE FLAMES AND OVEN PILOT

 How to adjust the air for surface burners:

NOTE: Because of different a titudes above sea eve and variations

in the supp y of gas, you may need to adjust the main air intake

to the burners. This wi resu t in a better air-gas mixture and thus

a better operation.

How to Use Your Range

NOTE: Do not obstruct the gas

exhaust of the oven or broi er

 The models with thermostat have a pilot in the oven burner,

to adjust it:

1.- Without the manifo d pane , ocate the adjustment screw on

the thermostat, see the i ustration on the right side.

2.- Remove the oven tray (see page 11) and turn the knob

approximate y 30° unti you fee a sma stop

turn the oven pi ot on with a match or a ighter.

3.- With a f at and thin screwdriver turn the adjustment screw

unti you get a f ame approximate y 3/8" ta .

4.- Rep ace the manifo d pane , screws and knobs.

 To turn on the surface burners manually:

Light a match and p ace it c ose the burner whi e you

push and turn the knob 1/4 of the way, the burner wi

A - Locate the screw on

the air shutter and

oosen it.

B - Turn around the air

shutter.

C - Turn on the oven.

D - Verify that the f ames

f ames are adjusted,

tighten the screw

again.

F - Rep ace the oven tray

and the oven rack.

Remove the

oven rack.

2.- Verify that the oven burner has been ignited.

Some mode s (see page 2) have a thermostat and pi ot

to contro the oven function.

 How to light the oven burner with thermostat and

pilot:

1.- Open the oven door, ight a match and p ace the f ame

at the igniter ho e in the front of the oven tray, push

and turn the oven knob to the pi ot position.

2.- Turn the oven knob 1/4 of the way to ignite the oven

burner, this position is minimum f ame.

3.- Verify that the oven burner has been ignited.

1.- Encienda un ceri o y co óque o cerca de agujero

de a charo a de horno, presione y gire a peri a de

horno hasta a posición de pi oto.

2.- Gire a peri a hasta 1/4 de vue ta para que encienda

e quemador.

3.- Verifique que e quemador de horno se haya

encendido.

A gunos mode os (ver Pag. 2) cuentan con quemadores

mu tiposición. Estos quemadores se cambian de posición

permitiendo concentrar más ca or para o as grandes.

DUO FLAMA (QUEMADORES MULTIPOSICIÓN)

A gunos mode os tienen os quemadores

mu tiposición a centro de a estufa.

MULTIPOSITION BURNERS

Some mode s (see page 2) have mu tiposition burners. The

position of these burners can be changed, a owing to

concentrate the heat for arge pots.

E cape o de vidrio temp ado, aunque es resistente,

debe manejarse con cuidado para evitar que se

rompa. Abra o cierre e cape o sin go pear o.

Asegúrese que os quemadores estén apagados y

fríos cuando cierre e cape o y nunca encienda

los quemadores cuando el capelo se

encuentre cerrado.No coloque trastes

calientes sobre el capelo.

CAPELO DE VIDRIO

 Para retirarla de la estufa:

1.- Ja e a parri a hasta e tope.

2.- Levante a parri a de a parte

fronta .

3.- Ja e nuevamente para iberar a.

 Para instalarla en la estufa:

1.- Empuje a parri a hasta e

tope.

2.- Levante a parri a de a parte

fronta .

3.- Empúje a nuevamente para

que egue hasta e fondo de

horno.

PARRILLA DEL HORNO

Para hornear a imentos muy grandes puede

usarse e soporte extra de a parte inferior.

E horno tiene 4 diferentes soportes para a parri a, a cua tiene un tope que evita que

se sa ga comp etamente de horno, para cambiar a posición de a parri a siga os

siguientes pasos:

The oven has 4 different supports for the oven rack, this rack has a stop to avoid droping

from the oven, to change the rack position fo ow the steps:

 To remove the oven rack:

1.- Pu the oven rack unti it

stops.

2.- Lift the front part.

3.- Pu it again unti it is

re eased.

 To install the oven rack:

1.- Push the oven rack unti it

stops.

2.- Lift the front part.

3.- Push it again unti it stops.

An extra rack position is provided for specia cooking

operations other than baking, such as roasting, where a

arge roasting container wi require more heat and therefore

need to be c oser to the heat source or oven bottom.

LUZ DE HORNO

A gunos mode os (ver Pag. 2), cuentan con

uz en e horno. La i uminación es importante

para revisar e horneado sin abrir a puerta.

 Para reemplazar el foco del horno:

1.- Desconecte e cab e tomacorriente de

a estufa.

2.- Retire e foco y reemp áce o con un

foco nuevo de 40 watts especia para

aparatos domésticos.

3.- Conecte a estufa nuevamente.

NOTA: E cab e tomacorriente debe conectarse a una

toma de corriente con un vo taje de 127 V ± 10%.

Cerciórese de que a insta ación esté apropiadamente

aterrizada.

A gunos mode os (ver Pag. 2), cuentan con peri as

Super Safe, que son peri as que brindan seguridad

adiciona para su fami ia a través de un candado

individua .

Las peri as Super Safe funcionan a través de una

pa anca que activa un candado que impide girar a

peri a para encender e quemador.

Una vez que ha girado la perilla para encender

el quemador, la palanca debe quedar en

posición de candado abierto, como se

muestra en la figura.

IMPORTANTE

La peri a se puede girar si a pa anca se co oca en

a posición de candado abierto . Si a pa anca

se co oca en a posición de candado cerrado , a

peri a no podrá girarse.

 Forma correcta de operar las perillas Super Safe:

El colocar la palanca en posición de candado cerrado, cuando

el quemador está encendido, podría dañar o dificultar la operación

de la perilla

The ight switch is ocated on the eft side of the

How to replace the oven bulb:

1.- Disconnect the power cord.

2.- Remove the bu b and rep ace with a new 40

watts specia app iance bu b.

3.- Connect the power cord again.

NOTE: Connect the range in a wa out et with a vo tage of

127 V ± 10%. Be sure the insta ation is proper y grounded.

IMPORTANT

Some mode s, see page 2, have Super Safe knobs,

these are knobs with a ever that activate an extra

safety mechanism for chi dren. If you do not have

chi dren at home is not necessary to activate the ever

each time you turn off the burners.

The knob can be turned if the ever indicates the

un ock position . If the ever indicates the ock

position, the knob can not be turned.

Once you have turned on the burner, the

lever must be maintained on unlocked

position, as shown in the figure.

Putting the lever on lock position when the burner is turned

on, may damage or difficulty the operation of Safety Knob.
