What you should know
The Console application allows for sending audio from a
microphoneorplayingfiles.
2N NetSpeaker
® recognises 3 levels of rights, which are
managedbythesystemadministrator.
CAUTION:Freerideisthehighestpriorityuserroleandshallbe
preferredinallzones.
TheConsoleprogramisusedforbroadcastingtopre–definedsessionsorinputsfor2N
users.Itisprimarilydesignedforbroadcastingaudio NetSpeaker
®via microphone
oraudio/musicinthemp3format(wma,ogg).
Connection and Settings
TheloginscreenisdisplayeduponConsolestart.Createtheusernameandpassword
usingtheControlPanelprogramoraskyoursystemadministratortocreateandassign
therights.
Enter the user name and password into the dedicated fields in the Console window
uponstart.Moreover,youhavetoconfigurethecorrecthostnameorIPaddressfor
login.Clickonthesettingpictogramintheprogramheader,seenextfigure,andthen
on togetintoconfiguration.Server settings

This screen helps you select a role after login to the Console program. Next figure
shows the window for a user with all roles. Refer to other parts of the manual for

General Console Control
Primarily, Console is designed for broadcasting sounds orvia microphone
audio/musicinthemp3format.Theleftsectionwiththemicrophonepicturecontrols
themicrophoneandthemiddlesection–Listofsounds–helpsplayaudiofiles.Press
the"Add"buttontoaddasoundtotheapplication.Theright–handsectionisusedfor
inputcheckandcontrol.RefertonextfigurefortheConsoleprogramcontrol.

AUTOMUTE button – used for enabling the "Automatic microphone

everyeveningandthepresenterannounceseverysong.Inthiscase,the
presenterselectsasongfromthefileatthebeginningofbroadcasting.He

TheFreerideuserisassignedthehighestuserrightsandcanthusbroadcastandplay
withthehighestpriority.Thisuserselectsthedestinationitselfbytickingoffthe2N®
